In the morning of Feb.23, 2012, Dr. Shujun Ma, the Chairman and President of CIMM Group arrived in Jakarta. Accompanied by the CEO of Indonesia agent company of CIMM GROUP, Dr. Ma has inspected and visit K large steel plants of Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as the Indonesian Steel Plant) successfully and came back to China in the night of Feb.24 after the completion of pre-arranged work schedule.

In the early morning of Feb.23, Dr.Ma gave no thought to the continuous days’ fatigue for his business visit to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and other Southeast countries, worked tirelessly and took the early morning flight of Feb.23, flying from Malaysia to Jakarta. After nearly two hours of driving on road, Dr.Ma arrived at Indonesia steel plant in Cilegon and then started working immediately. In just two days time, Dr. Ma worked day and night, raced against time for face-to-face talk and communication with more than 10 senior people from the technology, production and management of Indonesia Steel Mill and went to the workshop, site, laboratory and other fieldwork.

During the visit, Dr. Ma made presentations and preached about the purpose and idea of our group, demonstrated our comprehensive advantages in projects, products and others, especially CIMM’s implementation of the development strategy during “Twelfth Five year and Thirteenth Five Year Plan”, to ensure customers came to know CIMM and work with CIMM with confidence. By the negotiation of forward-looking business with the senior leaders of the steel mill, the two parties on the future aspects of the long term cooperation of tCIMM new projects in the steel mills and technical inovation projects and graphite electrodes, equipments, spare parts.

In the mean time, Dr.Ma and Indonesia agent company of CIMM had a practical discussion and negotiation. An agreement was reached regarding the comprehensive and extensive market development for Indonesian metallurgical projects, equipment, facilities, spare parts.

In only two days hard work, Dr. Ma has completed predetermined work schedule and the visit to Indonesia this time was successful. The Indonesia visit has forged a sustainable development foundation for CIMM’s long-term expansion in the Indonesian market and the realization of the planned objective of CIMM for the strategic market development for general contracting of metallurgical engineering, equipment and spare parts a in Southeast Asia during the  “Twelfth Five Year” period.
