Before May 1st, the day of International Labour Day, Chairman of CIMM GROUP, Dr. Shujun Ma, was awarded the honorary title of Dalian Model Worker by Dalian Municipal Government.

On April 28, 2012, the Dalian Municipal Conference for celebrating the International Labour Day and commending the Model Workers was held at the Dalian People’s Culture Club. The conference was conducted by the Mayor Mr. Wancai Li; the Municipal Party Secretary Mr. Jun Tang delivered an important speech; the Deputy Mayor Mr. Shengfeng Xiao read off the Dalian Municipal Government’s decision about commending the Advanced Units and the Model Workers in the year of 2010-2011. The advanced units and the advanced individuals in Dalian were commended at the conference. Chairman of CIMM GROUP, Dr. Shujun Ma, was awarded the honorary title of Dalian Model Worker.

On behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government of Dalian, the Secretary Mr. Jun Tang warmly congratulated all the commended units and individuals and expressed high respects and festive greetings to the labours from different industries and areas. He pointed out that the Model Workers are the outstanding representatives of all the workers in Dalian. They fully embody the spirits of the working class and the labour masses and reflect the requirements of the system of socialist core values. He said that the Model Workers are the backbone of the city, the salt of the earth, the role model of the age and they should be respected and supported by all the society.

Dr. Shujun Ma’s great award clearly shows that the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government highly recognize the fruitful achievements of CIMM GROUP as Dalian’s leading “going out” enterprise in developing the international EPC market and fully affirm the great contributions of Dr. Shujun Ma and CIMM GROUP in construction and development of Dalian. It is a kind of recognition and encouragement for us. We, all the staff of CIMM GROUP, will live up to what the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government expect of us, learn from the Model Workers, promote their spirits, make new and greater contributions for the full realization of Dalian’s “going out” strategic goals.
